Beacon’s PM Accepted into Voyagers Program

Beacon Associates is proud to announce that their Program Manager, Marcus Fedeli, has been selected into the 2011 Voyagers Program.

The Voyagers Program is a highly competitive leadership development program for mid-level professionals that pairs government and industry professionals together over a nine-month program, preparing them for future leadership roles within their agency or business.  Marcus was selected, in part, based on his leadership, experience, motivation to success, in addition to the outstanding results he has achieved for the NASA Solutions for Enterprise-Wide Procurement (SEWP) project.

Marcus was hired as the Business Manager for NASA SEWP in 2006 wherein he managed one other employee, a Customer Outreach Assistant.  Due to the tremendous growth of the SEWP vehicle – the number of contract holders more than doubled since 2007 – Marcus is now overseeing seven staff members and is responsible for overseeing all government outreach, industry marketing and business development efforts of the organization.

Beacon COO, Ann Marie Bryant, nominated Marcus Fedeli for the program.  “Beacon is extremely fortunate to have Marcus on its team.  He is a motivated, highly talented, dedicated employee that goes out of his way to support Beacon and those around him.  He will be a true asset to the Voyagers Program, and in return, it will provide him with leadership opportunities, relationships, and resources, enabling him to reach his peak potential,” said Bryant.  Beacon’s vision of developing leaders is instilled within employees at all levels and roles in the organization and Marcus is a prime instance of this.

Fedeli will become a member of the distinguished ACT-IAC Fellows at the end of the program.  Representing some of the brightest minds within the Government technology communities, ACT-IAC Fellows are “committed to life-long leadership development, trusted collaboration, and working together to solve government’s biggest IT challenges.”
